I decided to sleep in today. Because I can. It was a chilly morning and I snuggled in my bed, reflecting upon the tremendous joy it gives me to work my own hours. I didn’t fight a crazy commute and I don’t need a car. I have put my husband through graduate school by being an MT and my son didn’t have to go to daycare. I was able to be a part of his sports programs and we have traveled and skied and become good friends. I enjoy what I do. It’s quiet and interesting work. I love being an MT.

I am so grateful for my job. I am not very healthy, but being able to work from home is truly a blessing to me. I love the medical field & love helping people. I wanted to be a nurse, but didn’t get accepted into the program because of my size. God knew though what my future would be. I am still in the medical field & helping others by transcribing accurate medical records. By working it keeps my mind occupied & not feeling sorry for myself. It is a win-win situation.

I am grateful for being alive so that hopefully I can make a difference in someone else’s life. I am so very grateful for all of the things that God has given me.

I am grateful to be at home with my older dog so I don’t worry. I’m grateful to wake up naturally without an alarm needed. I’m grateful to work as long as I want to get as many lines as I can. I’m grateful for Wednesday off to do whatever I want. I’m grateful I don’t have to pack a lunch every day and be gone 50+ hours from home like I was previously. I’m grateful that this self starter can set her own goals and not have a boss looking over her shoulder micromanaging her every hour.
